I ordered these boots for my first hiking trip ever and was not disappointed. I ended up spending a total of 11 hours one day and 9 hours the next on moderate to hard trails in these without breaking them in first, and they worked wonderfully. No blisters. The only aches and pains I had were the expected ones from basically hiking up a mountain with no prior experience. I have wider feet so I was a bit concerned about the fit, but these were great with plenty of toe room; but not so much that I was sliding around in them. I have also used these since for rainy/snowy weather, and my feet have stayed warm and dry. I was hesitant to order these because the price was way more than I intended on spending, but the quality has been well worth it; and now these are some of my favorite shoes to wear out. Thank you Vasque for making such a high quality product!

I have a tendon issue and somtimes plantar facitus in my foot. These shoes were comfortable and supportive right away when I put them on. Look forward to walking lots of terrain in these.
